Proposal and Verification of a Support Method for Physical Examination Exercises Using Skeletal Information
In recent years, practical skills have become increasingly important in both nursing and medicine. However, there are problems with the use of ambiguous language in instruction and difficulties in looking back and learning.
Skeletal estimation is a technique that can quantify the angle of the human elbow and the distance between people. Using this technology, we devised the system shown in the figure on the right.
By using skeletal estimation, students can receive guidance using specific numerical values during exercise instruction. In addition, feedback can be received immediately after exercises, allowing for effective independent learning.

In medical interviewing, the skill of eliciting the necessary information from the patient in a short period of time greatly influences the diagnosis, so it is important to master this skill. However, actual practice situations are limited, and there is a lack of practice opportunities using simulated patients.
To solve this problem, we proposed a medical interview practice system using a generative AI as shown in the figure on the right.
This system using generative AI allows students to practice repeatedly without being limited by location or time. This is believed to increase learning opportunities and improve diagnostic skills.
