12/27_ Laboratories Mochitsuki Event
Today, December 27, Shikida Lab, Takata Lab, Harada Lab, Wei Lab, and Fukumoto Lab held a mochi pounding event at the plaza in front of the cafeteria!
Many students and faculty members participated in the event and had a good time interacting with each other across the boundaries of the laboratories!
Many students and faculty members participated in the event and had a great time interacting with each other across laboratories. Some people dipped the rice cakes in sugar-sweetened soy sauce or soybean flour, and others made and ate strawberry daifuku, enjoying an early New Year's celebration.
Since we had a surplus of 6 square meters of rice cakes made by 30 people, we will freeze them and enjoy them for a long time as zenzai or zoni (a sweetened red bean soup)!
